Cinema is one of the most popular and influential art forms, as well as core business at the heart of the media industries. The minor in Cinema Production combines coursework in Film History, Theory and Aesthetics with hands-on coursework in film and video production at intermediate and advanced levels, such as Cinematography, Sound for Film and Media, Digital Audio Production, TV Studio Production, and Experimental Film/Video Workshop, among others.
The minor in Cinema Production may be a special interest to majors in Cinema Studies: Critical Studies, Communications, Drama, Art, Music, and any other student preparing for a creative career in 21st Century entertainment industries. Upon completion of the program:
