The Office of Accessibility Services (OAS) is to provide an accessible, inclusive learning and working environment for the College of Staten Island (CSI) students and employees with disabilities in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act. OAS provides robust programming, services, and a deep commitment to pursue equitable access to education and employment through the provision of reasonable accommodations, auxiliary aids, and services that are determined through the interactive process. OAS is a central and essential resource for disability-related information and procedures to promote campus-wide inclusivity and access. OAS staff members work collaboratively with the campus community to provide expertise and guidance on best practices in developing and implementing services to empower students and create a successful working environment. As a result of the intentional efforts of committed professional staff, students and employees with disabilities will be among the most engaged, prepared, and successful at CSI.
