Fundamentals of digital electronics: logic operators and memory devices. Digital arithmetic: addition, subtraction, and multiplication. Introduction to integrated circuits (ICs): BCD and binary up-down counters, timers, analog to digital (A/D) and digital to analog (D/A) converters, and programmable devices. Course will cover several applications of digital technology in everyday life. (scientific analysis) (COPR) Prerequisite: MTH 020 or appropriate math placement.
