Description
Continuation of methods and processes of animation for use in fine art studio practice. This intermediate course will refine techniques learned in ART265, and introduce new methods. Instruction will include demonstrations, screenings, hands-on practice, and critique. Students will continue to focus on analog studio processes, such as stop motion with clay and drawing, and then employ digital tools to finish their projects. Lectures will deepen students' knowledge of experimental animation, both historical and contemporary. May be repeated once for credit.
