Digital Journalism: Field Producing

An advanced level course for creating engaging visual journalism using smartphones and other accessible tools. Students will gain experience with the practical aspects of visual storytelling, such as producing, interviewing, and shooting on location, while also refining journalistic skills, such as accuracy, clarity and analysis. Students will produce a short piece of visual journalism, and will create a digital home for their work.
