An introduction to the use and applications of drone technology and other remote sensing systems and their application to commercial and public policy issues. Students will explore current drone and sensing technology and will study existing regulations for drone operations. Direct exploration of the appropriate use of these technologies and regulatory and ethical considerations with their use. Students will study FAA regulations and the content of the FAA Drone 107 operator license.
