This course will offer students an understanding of blockchain, bitcoin and digital assets. Students will explore current topics in the areas of blockchain technology, the new financial asset of cryptocurrencies and their use in transactions and investing. Students will also explore multiple applications of blockchain technology that do not include cryptocurrencies. The course will also include discussion of regulations, market structures and potential risk caused by cryptocurrency activity.
