Description
4 Credits; 4 Hours. (Also: GEG 232) A social geographic approach in examining the spatial organization of human behavior and people’s relationship with their environment. Students will develop an understanding of the concepts of social geography as related to the major aspects of human behavior on the Earth, including population increase, migration throughout the world, the urbanization of the majority of humanity, and the modification of the surface of the planet via agricultural practices, industrialization, and natural resource exploitation. PREREQUISITE: ENG 151 and 3.0 minimum GPA required.
