An introduction to the tools and techniques of data analytics for gaining business intelligence to support data-driven decision making. It introduces data analytics techniques based on statistical, machine learning and data mining, to discover insightful knowledge, to develop descriptive and predictive models, and to mine patterns and trends from data. Students will learn the different aspects of business data analytics, such as identifying data sources, extracting, combining, exploring, analyzing, modeling, visualizing, and interpreting data.
