Description
This course consists of interactive discussions of nursing as a science. The theoretical aspects of professional evidenced-based care are explored. The history of nursing provides a foundation for growth. Models for health promotion, quality and safety as a foundation for culturally competent care of individuals, families and communities are examined. Theories of critical thinking are applied through the use of case studies.
