The Pedagogy of Secondary School in Social Studies

Students explore a range of effective and differentiated strategies for designing, implementing, and assessing teaching and learning in the secondary social studies classroom. Issues of language and literacy acquisition related of the social studies are discussed and the uses of technology are highlighted. A fieldwork component of 35 hours is included.
