Animation for Artists

Catalog Description

Introduction to methods and processes of animation for use in fine art studio practice. Classes will consist of technical lessons, demonstrations, screenings, hands-on practice, and critique. Students will work in a range of techniques, from hand drawing, to sculpture, to digital, and learn to make simple animations in different media. Lectures will provide context on the history and use of animation within the visual arts.
