Program Goals
Upon completion of this program, students will be able to:

1. Interpret and contextualize primary sources, evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of an historical argument, and establish its significance.

2. Pose a question for research, locate and evaluate primary and secondary source materials, and synthesize their findings into a coherently written argument that is supported by appropriate evidence in the context of the highest standards of academic integrity.

3. Identify continuity and change over time, and understanding of historical processes, the diversity and otherness of the past, and how the study of the past itself has changed over time
