Business AAS - Associate in Applied Science

Program Description
The Associate in Applied Science (AAS) in Business program offers students a foundational general business education with the opportunity for a concentration in accounting, finance, information systems, international business, management, or marketing. Graduates of the AAS in Business are eligible to articulate into the BS in Accounting, BS in Business, BA/BS in Economics, or BS in Information Systems and Informatics, subject to program admission and degree requirements.

Program Goals
Upon completion of this program, student will be able to:

• Demonstrate an understanding of the major functional areas of business.

• Communicate effectively in writing and orally.

• Be an effective and valuable team member

• Demonstrate specialized knowledge within one’s discipline, depending on concentration
