Description
Neuromorphic computing focuses on designing algorithms, electronic circuits and systems inspired by the brain?s neural structure and its mechanisms for processing information. This course examines this emerging field from the perspective of the scientist, the computer architect and the algorithm designer. It zones into the different disciplines, allowing students with diverse backgrounds to understand and appreciate the field. Overall, the course covers the basics of neuronal modeling, neuromorphic circuits, neural architectures, event-based communication and the neural engineering framework.
