Thinking Mathematically
Catalog Description
A course intended to introduce various applications of mathematics for students who have not demonstrated elementary algebra proficiency. Topics may include: personal finance, measurement, geometry, elementary probability, descriptive statistics, or voting methods. Sufficient elementary algebra background will be introduced to ensure a mathematical rigor for each topic.
