Cultural Variety in the Literature of the United States

An examination of literature offering perspectives on the diversity that comprises our American experience: ethnic backgrounds, races, religions, genders, sexual orientations, age groups, etc. Focus of the course varies from semester to semester. For English majors and minors, this is designated as a literature, American literature, and Women, Minority, and Third-World literature course.
